Despite repeatedly dumping blasting media out of the rockers and frame rails we got some passes in. Second day that Milan was open. Starting line felt good but with numerous adjustments we didn't improve. Trans overlaps on the 2/3 shift locking the tires. Didn't even try messing with engine tuning yet. got to make it hook first. Picks the wheels up a foot and spins. Shocks are loosened almost all the way, tires down to 12.25 psi. We'll get it ,more testing.
60 1.3739
330 3.8809

1/4 MPH 144.74

That is hauling the mail! Good mile per hour, you got a lot left!

Sounds like it's really going to run good when you get her dialed in!

was just talking about you yesterday with your alignment guru.lol. your et and mph are almost exactly like my hemi belvedere.
with those indy heads you got,i was thinking low low 9's.
your compression I believe is what's keeping you from the 8's. trial n error and testing and you'll be down there hopefully.

I knew that bad boy was gonna be mean ! Nice going ! Ron

Is that a caltrac car or? If it is a caltrac car you might want to start buy loosing the rear shocks a few clicks and re try it.. Great run first time out...

Doug,

I hope you weren't implying this was on the track due to launches. If so, the officials must 'love' to see you pull up. Maybe an air hose with a blow-gun stuck in some of the frame rail holes and other strategic places (while off the track) will eliminate this from happening. Other than that, good luck with your dialing in.

Actually i was surprised there was any in the car. Its been trailered over 100 miles on nothing but the finest in Michigan roads, not a drop of anything on the floor. It has been blown out numerous times before installing the quarter panel patches and the ends of the rockers. That stuff sticks everywhere. We duct taped the frame and rockers.
Here's the 1st solid launch when it dumped. Then the 2nd launch.

That 1st launch, it looked it just blew the tires off, can't see anything, coming out onto the track really, in that video coming out, but I believe you... that second launch was much better...
