lift off hood

hi guys just recently bought a 69 roadrunner and it has the 6 pack lift off hood I was wondering how do you tell if its an originally a12 lift off hood I can tell its an old hood fiberglass is very thick and looks well made an help would be great

I I have one too that is from an original a12 car that I put on my 68 GTX. As you say the hood is solid and heavy fiberglass. There's also a kind of design that is as the scoop and runs from the scoop to the front of the hood. Not sure how else to explain it - but it's not just a flat surface plain hood in that area. Am I making any sense...?

yup I know what you are talking about and mine has that to its like a bump up in front of the scoop I will post pic of the hood tomorrow
