Would like to see dealers names where your car was bought. My 63 Sport Fury came from Martin-Guy Motors, Inc. Charlotte N.C. And the 69 Road Runner was bought from Eagle-Harrison Motors Co. Inc. Albion New York.

Mother Load Motors, Sonora Ca. my 99 Dakota SLT 4x4 , My 68 RR came from Sacramento, Swift Chrysler Dodge Plymouth, Hammond Ford, Sonora Ca. for the 2002 F350

Devils Lake Chrysler Plymouth in Devils Lake, ND is where my GTX met the road back in 1971.

Used to have a 1972 dart and 1962 Valiant that came from Koppy Motors in St. Paul.

Still have an awesome leather keychain from Koppy Motors in St. Paul. Check out that phone number.

1965 Dodge Coronet 500 Dealer Sales Receipt.jpgMy 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 was sold at Colonial Dodge Inc. 24211 Gratiot Avenue, East Detroit Michigan.

Lake City Dodge in Seattle, Washington for our black 66 Charger
Dishman Dodge in Spokane, Washington for our cream 66 Charger ....and they are still there

My 66 Belvedere came from Central Garage, 314 Main Street, Bremond Tx. Window sticker total was 2969.03

Economy Chrysler, Cornelia Georgia- 67 Belvedere

St. Johns Chrysler Plymouth, St.Augustine, Fl

Unfortunately the dealer installed metal 'tag' (two holes drilled in the trunk lid with nuts on the studs) was missing the 'C' in 'Co.' and there was just too much corrosion in the pot metal to re-install it on the car. Company is still in business but sells GM products these days.

68 Road Runner came from Prince Chrysler Plymouth in Inglewood, CA (LA built car). 69 GTS 340 convertible came from Brockton Dodge in Brockton, MA. My green Bel was in San Jose all it's life and I'll have to look at what dealership it came from, assuming I have that info in the stack of papers it came with. I have no idea on the others.

How the hell do you figure that one out? LA plant, first owner was in St. Louis, so I'm told.

If you are asking me, I simply 'Googled' James Motor Co. Hays Kansas...

My 63 Fury convertible was purchased at Van Ness Chrysler-Plymouth on Van Ness Ave, San Francisco. It was shipped to them on November 24, 1962.

Holy $hit I stepped into another purist den didn't I. Sorry to waiste your time boys. I'll remove my posts. Sorry to tread on this hallowed ground.

???

I believe 1948 santa was curious if we happened to know where our cars were originally sold from. Some folks do and some folks don't. I saw this more as a trivia/ nostalgia post than anything else. Maybe I'm wrong?

that's what I took it as also..just trivia to see if any of us knew where our cars were first sold

Maybe I over reacted. I got the feeling my question on how to figure it out was being snubbed. Sorry again.

There has to be a way to figure it out, maybe not. I reviewed my broadcast sheet, nothing jumps out at me.

Only reason I know mine is because window sticker was in glove box with owners information pamphlet.

Dead issue for me. Never gonna know.
Seller won't tell. Says he bought from long time owner. Then flipped. First owner folklore was a Viet Nam Era Vet who ordered the car from Germany then lost his life. Thus the Export Tag. (If correct, may you RIP and thank you for your service Sir) the R/T lives on in your memory. That makes me owner number 4. Bought near Allentown in 1988.
