I am missing the key to my ignition. I bought a matching set of cylinders, for the doors & ignition. According to the info at the tail end of this vid, if you don't have the key, you have to use a dremel tool etc, to grind down the pin, to remove the lock cylinder. Has anyone done this ? Is there a way to remove the cylinder, without causing damage to the bezel threads ?

If you have a vice and a small punch tool you may be able to punch it down with a few light taps. I dont know that I would get anywhere near the diecast with a dremel.

Thanks. Yes, damaging the bezel threads was my main concern. I don't care if i trash the lock cylinder.
