I have installed the lokar cables on my 1966 Dodge Charger with a built 383/727 and was wondering if anyone has put a spring on the tranny lever to pull it back towards the motor? Thanks for any helpful advice
Yes I did put a return spring on the lever on the transmission. The lokar cable reverses the operation so there needs to be a spring on the lever instead of at the throttle because the cable pulls the lever back instead of the rod pushing it back.
