I spoke with Chris at Legendary today and asked if they could do an interior for my 63 440. He said that they do not have a pattern for it..now the problem. I have an original rear seat and door panels but I do not have an original front seat. I am hoping that someone out there has a front seat that they are going to have recovered that I can get the old upholstery from. I will also need photos of an original front seat so they can see how it looks.

does yours have the inserts or was it plain jane vinyl all the way across?

I have a similar problem I am doing a 4dr to 2dr conversion and I have all the parts except the door panels.I even have the steel part at the top of the door panels. The problem they claim, there is not enough demand for the 2dr sdn panels, seat covers because a friend called for me and that was the answer he got.The panels and seat covers I would need are for a 64 Belvedere, if you want Super Stock panels they can make them for you.

My interior is cloth and probably stock for the 440. I have found one photo of a front seat and the pattern matches my rear set, just a different material. The seat that I have is from a Polara with the fold down arm rest, the seat in the photo is from a 440, same type but a different pattern from the Polara.

Thats pretty plain for a Polara interior at least the door panels are Polara.

Looks great, this is what I'm after...I have all of the chromeg metal trim for the Polara front seat if you need it. Its not the thin sheet metal, its all cast.

Thanks 63440 but I have a full set set in storage for when I'm ready.......got on fleabay a few yrs ago with a lot of hard to find parts like the speaker cover, ash trays and steering wheel. My car came with chrome inside front and rear windscreen surrounds, do you know if this was common?
