Looking for input on this one. Again I think the price is crazy but how crazy? I really like the look of this car but not 36k like. What would be fair offer. Thanks in advance.

I have not been able to see it in person and don't know much about the car yet. I wanted to get some expert advice from FBBO members before I go in with the gloves on. I was almost at 20, I was thinking 18.

Price would be a little stiff for a #s matching with documentation proving the 383 Formula S thing.
Without that its a cool A body in the mid 20s on a nice build.
JMHO

That’s too much for that car. Not sure where I would put it at but 20-25k is probably more realistic if it has the original engine.

Not a "A" body expert either. Owned a '68 Formula S that had the optioned 383 4spd. It had bucket seats. I heard that car was rare also. Red with black interrior.

If that's a real deal 383 4-speed Formula S, sad as it is, that price is in the ballpark.

Ah for that price I sure would have some nice paint on it other then flat black which is not a paint job IMO. Ron

Price is in the ballpark for an original and documented car, not that. Not for me anyway.

Is a dealer selling it? If it is, then it's $10k too much.

The seller wrote “posi traction”.

Mull that over for a second.

Judge the accuracy of the rest of the ad on that one statement.

Useful ad. "sounds like numbers matching" demands documentation.
If my REAL V-Code Roadrunner was #s matching, I wouldn't have been able to afford it-I was $42k or so on a $59k asking price, and I wouldn't "be able" to do all of the modifications to it that I have and will with no real concern about "getting it back" to the way I bought it-I don't care about that, at all. My car, not #s matching, but it will always have the added value of that V in the VIN, no matter how I mod it, and I'm never selling it unless I have absolutely no choice.

Nope!! Maybe, MAYBE if it was correctly restored with original drivetrain. But that paint, those wheels and the engine add ons bring the price down imho.

Paint and wheels would have to go. Jmo
I am totally burned out with the satin black paint jobs. Waaaaay too many of them out there. Lots of guys at DodgeCharger.com that get all wiggly about the color but to me, it looks like a half assed paint job.

That's a 13,000-15000 car as its sitting unless I'm seeing hard documents build sheets ext. If it is a true formula s I'd say $22000 as it sits .if it was painted and is a 100 point show car 28-30 max

I think it's cool looking but you don't do that to a pedigree rare car ,you hot rod a stripper and modify upgrade something so rare should be perfectly org ! Ask him if there was a typo in the price did he mean $3590.00? That will get them going ,these people want to be dicks and try and gouge people I'll mess with them this isn't a high end auction full of blind people !
