Howdy,

New poster here. Looking to get a cheap set of 15X6 plain jane steel wheels for a clone A12 conversion I'm doing. Any leads appreciated. Don't have to be original H codes, but I want the correct bolt pattern and look.

Any leads appreciated.

Just sent you a pm. Still looking. Will settle for 4 14x6's if any out there

Look INSIDE the 70's van at the junk yard. The spares were kept there and they will be perfect, no rust, curb rash or anything. I bought a set at the junkyard for $5 per rim and I didn't even have to paint them cuz they were perfect.

They might have been 15x6.5 though but can you really tell the difference when the tire is mounted and on the car?

I have a set of 4 15x6.5 original MoPar steelies. How's $160.00 for the set? Too much?? Make me an offer. Ship from SF bay area.

Some great info. Thanks a bundle.

Just found a 73 Plymouth Fury with what appear to be the 3 nub 15x6 wheels I need. Could these be H codes? Couldn't find the H but maybe its under the grime somewhere. Appreciate clarification from someone here familar with this model. Or could these be 15x6.5's?

Cheers

Will post photos later.

There are actually 2 different "H's" that were on these wheels. A large one and a small one. You want the larger one. BUT....if you can pick those up for a song then I'd say do it.

How to tell the difference? Larger H and smaller H engraved? Other code numbers / letters? Other than the letter differences...same wheels?

thanx

One is maybe a 1/2 inch tall. The other is maybe 3/4 inch. They are stamped, and kinda look like each piece of the "H" were stamped one at a time

Great thanks for the detailed image! Would that be the larger A12 H in the image?

In my quest to learn everything about these H wheels. What else can you tell me about backspacing, offset, bolt diameter numbers etc... I know its a large 5 bolt 3 nub but I'd like to get the complete specs. 4.25 or 4.50 backspacing?

Thanks again

I've heard the A100 vans had something similar...differences?

Great forum BTW

Best of my knowledge the H stands for heavy duty, so I'm thinking they were used on wagons and like you said, possibly the A100. Pretty sure the back space is 4.5".

Thanks for the 411. Found a set of wheels on a 73' Fury and they have an H. Though in this photo its tough to tell through the grime.

I'm assuming and hoping they'll work on my runner. The bolt pattern is certainly the same.
