Anyone got a 71 clutch pedal return spring lying around they'd like to sell? I can barely get the clutch tot he floor without it! I'm referring to the spring that mounts from the top of the pedal under the dash to the pin near the firewall, not the one on the clutch fork.

Have you got something else binding? I can't see that spring will make a night and day difference.
If you do put it on can you report back what difference it makes. I would be interested to hear what you find.

That spring makes a pretty big difference once you are half way down.

OK let me know what you find I am definitely interested to hear your thoughts on how effective that spring is solving your issue.

Not needed if you use a Centre-Force clutch...probably same for the new McLeod clutches.

Diaphragm clutches require the over-center spring be disconnected.
Conventional (Borg & Beck) type clutches need it to be in place.

I have an extra if you’re still looking.
