hello all.
I'm converting my 68 coronet from an auto to a 4 speed.
I'm looking for a pic or two of what a proper tunnel underside looks like with the hole cut out for the shifter.
Thanks,
Rob

Found this one on this forum.. Find of looks like its cut out to the outer dimensions of the 4 speed adapter.

Thanks fells!
What I'm trying to determine is how the hole looks for the shifter.
Was it just about as large as the hump as shown in the picture of the car on the rotisserie?

Would a "correct" cutout be just smaller than the hump?

Thanks,
Rob

Sit the hump on the floor, draw a line around the edges....cut approx 1/2" inside the lines. You'll see where to go once you set it up.....obviously you stop cutting when you hit the crossmember brace etc.
