Need a referal
I am going to pull the 440 6-pack motor out of my recently purchased 70 coronet R/T to have it gone thru. The master cylnder bled all over the inside fender well that needs to be cleaned up and repainted, but there is not enough room with the motor in the car to do it right. Also, it's been running like crap...feels like its missing when cruising....also hesitates when I get on it. My local mechanic (mopar friend) took a look at it and thinks its in the carbs, but he is not skilled enough to tackle a 6 pack setup. Since I do not know the history of the motor I would prefer to have the heads and oil pan pulled off to see what the guts look like while I am tackling the carbs. Thoughts on anyone talented in the midwest? Would prefer to stay in Iowa if there is someone really good, if not I can take it somewhere in the midwest.
Thanks
