looking for broadcast sheet

can anybody help me locate a broadcast sheet for my 1970 roadrunner VIN:
RM23N0E121745. I have looked in all the usual places in the car.

Jim, it's possible that your car did not have a build sheet. I also have a California 70 GTX and it's very common that CA cars did not have them, from what the experts tell me. Good luck, Gary

In the springs of the back seat, inside the dash on top of the glove box, underneath the carpet, and inside the headliner. Mr Stinking Mouse can be helpful in all these areas.

Ditto. My '70 GTX was pretty much all original when the guy that restored it got his hands on it, and no buildsheet was to be found anywhere. It's more uncommon to have a L.A. built car with a buildsheet than without. One thing I did discover is that during certain periods of that year, they used a narrower and slightly different font for the fender tags (also into '71, but I don't think in '69) of many cars, along with using the standard letter size/font you see from all the other plants. I've seen where they use both types of tags in the same build day and week, so they must have had two lines making tags (and maybe one machine kept breaking down).

i have also heard the broadcast sheet can be found in the bucket seats if you remove the plastic backing. i have buckets in mine but havent got around to removing them. i looked everywhere but there to find mine .
