Thanks. The VIN and color are in the pics it's the original color and it's been repainted. Black bucket with auto console. In order to help, people need the VIN and SO number. A description would help. (What it is, engine, tranny, original exterior and interior colors. Has the car been repainted? Etc). Otherwise we don't know what we're looking for.

What if I have a picture of the tag but no VIN?
What if I don't know how to read a Certicard?
What if I'm too lazy to decode the Certicard or can't read it?
Why make people guess?
We're happy to help but throw us a bone.
How about something like:
"I'm looking for any information on WP23F77123456. The Sales order number is 06543. It was originally a blue Coronet 500 with black bucket seats. Column automatic with A/C. Now it's a red R/T four speed clone. it was sold new in Experiment, GA"
The angry bird is probably your best shot on this board.
Guys like me that take hundreds (thousands?) of fender tag pics and regularly scour E-bay and auctions for pics of tags, broadcast sheets, window stickers, shipping notifications and other documents due it for research and to help guys like you looking for info.
The problem is if I have a pic of the fender tag from that car, I can't match it by the VIN as I can't tie the VIN to the tag as the VIN isn't on a 67 tag. I can only do it by the SO.
So if I have a pic of the tag from someplace like Carlisle, I can't help because I don't know the SO or a description of what the car was originally. SO numbers were re used but linked to the SPD in 67. Theoretically, I could have the same SO for two different WS cars. If I knew one was a blue four speed and one was a red column auto, I can eliminate one of them if I had a description of the car.
People WANT to help but need more info on that year of car in order to do so. Give us what we need in order to do so.
The chances are slim I have something but right now the chances are nil. I don't know what to look for.
You can search by VIN on Hamtramck Historical to see if Barry Washington might have something on the car. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/found.shtml
You're right, I apologize, thought you were one of those "you didn't dot your i's and cross your t's critics.
I didn't realize the VIN wasn't on the tag in'67, so you taught me something already. I think the SO# is on the letter I got from the Chrysler registry. Will locate and post. Thanks and sorry for the sarcasm.......
I think the SO# is on the letter I got from the Chrysler registry. ...
Chrysler Registry as in Galen Govier or Chrysler registry like Chrysler Historical? If it's from Chrysler Historical (not Galen) and you have a copy of the IBM card, I can help decode it.
I don't know what the current status of Chrysler Historical is right now, but some records exist for 1967. You may be able to contact them for a copy of the IBM card. (see below) That's a 'holy grail' as that is what was used to help generate the broadcast sheet and tag to begin with. It also has things like dealer codes (potentially where it was shipped to).
