Looking for my first charger.

I'm in the search for my first car, a 69 charger se 383 2 bbl car. Sold it in Pittsburg pa in the mid 80s.
I cloned it to be an r/t se 440 auto pdb, ps..... I put an ad on Craigslist with pictures in the town I sold it.

First, if you really want help from folks up there, you better learn that Pittsburgh has an H on the end.

Do you by chance have any old documentation (registration or insurance paperwork, etc.) that would have the VIN? There are sites that can provide a vehicles history by plugging in the VIN. Google: 'locate a vehicle by VIN'.

those VIN check sites wont work ...my dodges vin is only 13 numbers they want a 17 number VIN

So they only work with longer (I'm assuming newer?) VINs? Or is it that they only work if a car is currently registered maybe? I dunno.

all the ones I tried only worked with longer current 17 number vins .....
