Looking for R6 red RR near KC

I bought a wrecked 69 Road Runner in 1989 with a amazing story behind it.I found the car maybe 6 or so years ago on Ebay for sale.It was in or near Kansas City and the owner wanted 10K for it,way to much money.The Guy that had it on Ebay did not care about the cars info that I had.The car had been worked on but not fixed yet.The car was a 1969 Road Runner,383,auto,R6 red,with top,white bench seat interior.It had front end damage,and a buckled roof.I would love to find the car again and maybe even have a chance to buy it back.I do have the cars history from new until 1990.

I don't have the car or have any idea where it is but if you have the VIN why don't you post that and you may have some better luck finding it.

yup and mac over on 69roadrunner.net has a registry and may have the cars vin listed

I do not have the vin.But I sold the car to my Uncles friend who promised me he would fix the car.I gave him the original title he sold the car and kept the original title.I told the Guy who had it on Ebay I had pics of the car from when I had it and could get the original title if he wanted it.He had no interest in the cars history,title,or pictures.If I remember the cars firewall,inner fenders,cowl,and frame rails had beenreplaced when I saw it on Ebay.It was hit har in the front end.

The drivers rear quarter behind the wheel was kicked up and out like the car went into a ditch.The roof had a buckle above the passenger 1/4 window.A piller was pushed up.The car had pearl white inteior and top.I think when it was on Ebay the top had been removed.

i have only seen one R-6 runner in the Kansas city area , It runs and driver but mildly rough but shows ok , I do remember its and A/C car . Did yours have A/C ?Guys who owns the car or did anyway is full of him self


just looked up picture i took of the car last summer and its a post car with black interior so may not be the one your looking for.

No A/C and it was a hardtop. Thanks keep youreyes open for me. Jim
