I just purchased a 1969 Charger in FC7 plumb Crazy purple with black stripe. It still needs a few things to be complete. Looking for Magnum 500 rims 15 by 7, front bucket seats, drivers side grill bucket, not headlight door. I am located on Vancouver Island. Just finished installing all new console. It has taken me 30 years to find a car that I can afford with minimal work. It is my retirement project and just getting started. Many thanks.

Nice 69 Charger

welcome to FBBO from NorCal

You have a beautiful retirement project....looks like it will be an easy project tho'. Glad to have you aboard, and wish you all the best with that sweet looking Charger. Lot of great knowledge here to look upon. Wish it was in my garage alongside my 74' Charger, 73 Dart Sport and 73 Duster! Summit Racing has some of the best prices on Magnum 500's...check them out.{ What's lurking under that Plum Crazy hood...}? Take care friend.

:welcome: aboard!

Nice looking Charger!

Best year for a Charger too!

Very nice! Welcome!

Thanks. I had a 74 Dart Sport 340 car in the early 80s. Dad bought it new in 74 and my uncle bought a 74 charger new. Mopar in the blood. Good info on this site. She is running a 71 440 with aluminum heads 10-1 pistons, 850 holley dual feed carb, msd dist and 6 al box. Runs strong with no problems. Once I retire in a few years, I will start from the ground up, but in the meantime look for a few parts. I did look at Summit and they are nice, but the duty at the border is brutal and our Canuk buck does not go far. Heading down this late spring to do some parts hunting, but if no luck, I will have to pay. All good as the old girl really puts a smile on my face when she starts to shred tires. Cheers, B

Tire shredding can be a weakness lol! I'm running a 440 in the Duster with pretty much added as you have. The Dart Sport is a 360 stroked to a 418, the Duster has its hands full at times with it. The Charger is a 318 which I prefer to keep stock except for wheels exhaust and few other things, it was the one I had in high school. Just got it back in 2014. It was gone for 32 years and I got it back from the guy I sold it to. Still looked the same... but then he only ran it from 81 to 84. So fortunate to have it back home!! Luck to you!

wow you are fortunate to get the charger back after all those years. my Dart was sold way back in the mid 80s to a local guy who wrapped it into a pole. Junkyard it went. I also had a 68 Charger I sold back in 1990 to another local guy and he still has it. I have gotten to know him very well over the years. I even made a few big offers, but no way he is going to part with it. I am sure it will stay with the family. Beautiful resto on it and is so smooth to run. He was really excited to see me in the 69 as he knows what those cars means to me. We will be going to a few shows this year if all goes well. my last car was a 74 Challenger 383 car that was a basket case. Had fun building that and then family comes along and sold early 90s never to be seen or heard of again. Keep em close as they are hard to find. I sold a 69 swinger 6cyl last year and my son is still mad. Anything I find now, I have to keep. Cheers,B

Yes, as you said...keep em close! My girlfriend also ran the Charger some her senior year, and now my wife! So the Charger was a pretty easy decision on bringing back home. Read my thread I posted...."Back home 32 1/2 years later". I'll try and get some pictures posted of the Mopars! Cheers as well, M
