moparmat72 thats a badass car in your image thing put i have a 3.7 slant six chrysler isnt the 4.0l one for a jeep will it work for my car? what would be the gains of the new head? thanks

First, the 4.0 head mentioned will not interchange on a slant.

Now, on to what I have. I've got a professionally ported and flowed slant head, WITH flow sheets. It has 318 valves with a competition 3 angle valve job, 440 Magnum springs and good retainers and locks. I also have a custom ground Oregon solid cam. .465 lift and 230 duration @ .050 ground on a 105 LSA. I have a Clifford 4 barrel intake in excellent shape. I also have a set of six KB139 pistons. They are the non turbo Chrysler 2.5 4 cylinder piston. Just so happens they have the same wristpin diameter and with their pin location, zero deck height can be acheived with them. They have generous valve reliefs. Compression with the block I have will be somewhere a touch over 10:1 but with the cam it will be pump gas friendly. Barely. I have no header(s), yet. I am oen to offers. I know slant stuff aint worth a mint, but I have a good bit in the head especially. I would like to at least break even......or close.

do you have any extra carbs or intake manifolds i will pay you a fair price for those even some sort of turbo set-up would be cool i can make money easily thats no problem thanks.

tell me what you want for the parts in a list i will gladly take a few parts of your hands.

Let me think about prices as I have really not even thought about sellin this stuff till now. I do have a complete super six (2 barrel) engine that's a good core but I kinda wanted to keep it........caint keep everything though.

Hah, I know that feeling. My shed needs to be about 4 times the size and why do I have 2 sets of spare heater boxes? I need those like a hole in the head but can't toss em.

any idea of how much you would sell the set-up for just the intake car and linkage thanks.

Thanks im currently trying to get it done to go racing till I turn it into my full drag car. Sorry about the misinformation about the head thought the amc sixs were the same my bad.

No harm. I wish they would fit. It would be a much better head.

Go to www.slantsix.org

And just turbo it, that's what I am doing. Ported and polished head, with mustang 302 valves, comp cams .435 flat tappet cam kit,
2 bbl intake manifold with a 500 cfm carb, and then a t25 turbo at 10psi. With tranny done and 3.55 gears I'm expecting to run low 13's.
