bee4.jpgbee2.jpgbee3.jpgMy Good Friend Danny is looking for this car. Sonny is trying to help find this lost beauty;.............................................................One of my dad’s friends is looking for a former car of his – the FIRST ’69 Super Bee sold in Milwaukee – and I would like to help him find it.

It occurred to me that FBBO it is the best site & would be the logical place to start. Sonny would be the logical person to initiate the thread since he is a member. Of course, that is if it is not a conflict of interest for him.

Incidentally, I guess it caused quite a stir when he drove it home from the dealership – people literally stopped and stared as it was the only one in town at the time. & Happy New Year!

Danny

DMV search if you have the VIN or plate or last owner info maybe... nice car, good luck & Happy New Year

Thats kind of a cool history behind it Sonny, Very nice looking car i can see why not being any others around folks would stop and look at it and hope somehow you can find it, love to see one found that someone is looking for a little more often.

Ron, I should be getting more info in the next few days & will "keep this up to date". Don't you just love the White Walls? ..."In '69 'they' just didn't want to give them up"

update on info; I have more information for you, the most important being the VIN:

· WM23H9G142915
· Ordered new from North Shore Dodge on 9-11-68
· Traded in on a family car August 1971

Thanks again!

Sonny

You already have more info on your car than I do about mine. I got a buck that says neither one of us will find out more. Bought my 69 Coronet R/T in Feb of 1988 for $3,450 from Mark S. Werner in Alllentown, Pa. He won't tell me anything about the car. Now I can't find him. I even tried to bribe him by sending cash to his last address. Nothing. WS23L9A283676. I have some fun trivia and the R/T has an export plate. First saw the car at a Sunoco station in Bethlehem and the owner lived in Danielsville. Nothing can be verified.

What state was it originally sold in, was it Ill., In the Chicago area too, did it sell to another Ill. or Chicago resident after it was traded in 1971 ??... I'm not familure with North Shore Dodge either... Sonny, I have no idea, I'm just trying to help you get more info out there...

The car was purchased in the Milwaukee area, at North Shore Dodge. So well see if someone can hook us up with a lead.
