Looking to network in Sacramento

Hi there, I am located in Sacramento and would lik eto find some fellow Mopar enthusists to nework with in the area. Anyone live near Sac.

My son and I are currently rebuilding his 73 Dart 318 engine and I just finished up a 74 Duster resto. I have 68 Road Runner and a 2006 Magnum. I guess you could say we are hard core MOPAR!

I,m in nevada city...Just an hour north of you...Their is a good all MoPar club in sac...Capitol city MoPars...June 25 car show and swap meet...I,ll be selling some 66,67 b body parts...I,ll be attending mopars by the bay in monterey in august..I,ll tow my car down for that...The price of fuel would break me...If you want to hook up for beers and burnouts just let me know!!!

Airkiller welcome to the FBBO forum. I too am in the Sonora area also, like 68X426... I use to lived in your neck of the woods for years "Rancho Murieta" a couple of miles east of Sacramento off Jackson Rd. Hwy 16, I moved up here a couple of years ago now...My 68 RR is still a work in progress I will be attending some shows & mainly races soon...Budnicks

Bad news, but we shal overcome!

Thanks to those guys that came by and said hello at the Mopars in the Park event this past weekend. Unfortunatly the Road Runner suffered a total loss of transmission power upon arriving at the event. I literally had to push the car into position. At the end of the event I was able to drive it up to the road area with only enough power to get it in place for the tow truck. It is now at the shop to see what went wrong. The 727 had the proper fluid level and the linkage was fine. it just would not move when it warmed up.

To top things off the Duster trans is also in distress. The 833 OD unit I have init was showing signs of not being happy. Now it is jammed hard in 4th gear and will not shift at all. I have a 833 4 speed that I will be rebuilding but the car will not be going anywhere for awhile. WHat a BUMMER, The Duster is down, The Road Runner is down, and the DART is getting a new engine. I am going to be wrenching for some time I fear.

I got tickets to the nascar race on sat so had to ditch the car show...Sorry about your car man...It gets frustrating sometimes..Auburn cruise night second friday of the month...I was there last month...I,ll be there on the 8th of july..
