1969 Plymouth GTX has a good running 440 & a 727 with reverse manual auto body & B&M shifter for it I got rid of a 4-speed muscle car for this GTX as I dont want to have to shift & this is same thing just with no clutch also car has no power steering or brakes so guessing it was ordered for Drag racing & shows sighs of being a drag car for many years (trunk batt & shut off switch & electric fuel pump drive shaft loop ) & I was just looking for a driver for summer undercarriage & trunk are rust free & perfect but body has bubbling interior is nice but rear seat is split on some seams & Hurst wheels I put on it dont go with it have centerlines or some steel wheels for it for trades looking for a driver 68-70 Charger or 70-74 Cuda/challenger dont care what running gear a car has but only looking for auto trans also open to super bee or road runner & clones are fine I just want power steering & disc brakes guess I am open to other "muscle" cars like GTO Mach 1 SS GS 442 & of course a Demon but with dusters & darts I would want cash with one & guess a price has to be listed even though I am only loooking for trades so if I got the $20K I had in car I swapped for this GTX I would be a happy SOB.... 881966_10200980499778503_550528354_o.jpg891922_10200980503738602_271094748_o.jpg902069_10200980496498421_406380998_o.jpg886526_10200980498498471_1566382965_o.jpgView attachment 110982View attachment 110983

You just put new wheels on it, glws!!

yep & spring is here so have been driving it & the shifting through gears all the time is almost as annoying as a stick just no clutch to press down & I find I pref power steering & disc brakes so hopping someone healthier or younger then me wants a badass GTX to drive & has a driver 318 car they want to swap off....

cant figger out how to change price in add but will take $18K for car as I just got offered that I would pref a trade but guess at $18 I break even on it

been driving GTX as much as weather lets me & numbers on motor say its a 1968 440/375 & from cam I can hear & outside motor pref stuff & fact I have been driving muscle cars for over 25 years I will guess its bout 440-450HP to wheels is fun but I would rather be in a charger or a cuda/challenger with power steering & disc brakes.....

wish i had the money..i got a 70RR clone with a small block in it still and a trans am ws6..i have a 440/727 im building from the ground up for the roadrunner..i really wanted a gtx but couldnt find a good one so i got those cars instead

them are both cars I would rather have then this as I love the 70 body & wile I enjoy mopar muscle cars my blood bleeds poncho blue..

Sorry, it was just a comment, not an offer. Good luck with your car.

Why not keep the car and simply put a stock valve body back into the transmission so it's automatic once again?
