Lower ball joint

Did anyone ever pull the lower ball out the joint? I was going about 15 miles per hr.and floored the gas pedal and the front end lifted and I herd a pop or crack on the left wheel and then it came apart.. The front end is fairly new. 1962 plymouth 383 727 with 391 posi with drag street slicks.... Cleyon

Never heard of that. Makes me wonder if the new balljoint had a defect.

So the ball came out of the socket? Can't recall ever seeing that happen on an old joint let alone a new one.
