I’m about to get into my front suspension and replace, repair as needed etc. I was looking to rebuild these lower control arms and add the strengthening kit etc, but the tabs for the sway bar is missing on one and bent on the other, hole appears reamed out as well.

The sway bar was missing but I have purchased a replacement.

I’m not a welder so advice needed; try to repair and add tabs for these or just find another set to rebuild?

TIA

Not sure how all that came about?
The tabs are plenty strong enough for the sway bar yet somehow one is crushed?
Looks like the leading edge of the control arms have been abused as well.

Maybe see if you can find a pair.
The advantage is you can get them refurbished before taking the front end apart and shorten the time your car is unusable.
Looks like you need most everything.

Might want to consider a disc brake upgrade while you're rebuilding it as well.

I have that pair I keep forgetting to take pictures of them. They are from a 69 Road Runner with sway bar tabs. They will need new bushings. They will come with the pivot shafts but no nuts. I think I reused those.

They both look questionable. Best to find two decent ones to rebuild.

I suspect a fender bender sometime in the past. Thanks.

Yes please. Thanks.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. That took some serious force to do. I would replace the LCAs and take a hard look at the other parts too.

I also have a 1969 Road Runner stock sway bar with brackets. Would replace the bushings on those too.

I could probably piece together with nuts from mine etc. Possible you could send pics this weekend? Thanks much.

Thanks. I’m interested if you could pm price with shipping. Thanks, much appreciated.
