Hi All,

Having problems getting the lower windscreen stainless trim installed. Trying to get it in before the show on the weekend.

I have the little screw in wings, the problem is getting the two pieces that run along the length of the lower windscreen to stay clipped down.

I have all new clips, new windscreen and rubber seal. The window is installed with 'neverset' style silicon sealant (Installed did it). I've straightened the trim, pried the clips further open, tried pushing it down, etc. but it always seams to just be sitting there, like a good gust of wind will pull it up. this is with out installing the screw down wings. I feel like if I screw the wings down it will pop the center up.

Is there some trick to this? love some help!

Cheers
Leigh

Do you have the right clips installed along the bottom? There is two very different styles for the front windshield. The sides & upper are the same ,the bottom is a different style & the lower outer ends will need the proper retainers.

Yeah I'm pretty sue I have those down the bottom. I do remember putting different ones along the bottom for that trim.

Actually hoping that I haven't "Jimmyed" them open too much and htey have lost the clamping force...
