info says 60 degree conical. what about mag style w/ shoulder? thanks 64

conical or"acorn"style lugs are not interchangeable with mag style.DONT MIX THEM!!!lugs can work loose and snap studs.we all know what happens then.if you need to take them to a reputable tire shop to get the right lugs.

yes i know that you can not mix them and what will happen. i will just wait till my wheels arrive and get the lug nuts at that point. was hoping that someone would tell me what they are using. thanks

Most all new wheels use conical seat, just like your instructions say. You just need to get the right thread, Mopar 1/2-20 is normal, depending on your year you may have one side with left hand thread, the other side right hand thread. Check you existing lugs before purchasing. Left hand studs usually have an "L" stamped in the center.

the older torque thrust take the shank nut and newer take the conical. i don't know which year the switch was made but i have a set bought in the mid '90's and they're shank nuts, and another set bought in 2003 that are conical nuts.

They changed in the 90's. I knew them (AR) and I bought a bunch of specials from them when they cleared out the old stock.

ok great. thanks for the info. i was right thinking that they used the shank style (pre 90's). but confused when i read on the website that they used conical nuts. thought maybe it was generic info.

Just remember to retorque the lug nuts after about 50 miles.
