I found this lighter today at the local flea market. In the box and in NOS shape. Meaningful to me because that is the assembly plant my RT was made at.

I always have an eye out for things at estate sales and flea markets. I live in Michigan, but I am slightly familiar with Mechanicsville, because my nephew lives in Beaverdam. I have always liked the story behind Short Pump getting its name.

Employee suggestion plan was in an incentive to come up with ideas that would save the corporation money. At our plant we received a steak dinner. Very nice find!!

Maybe it was just an incentive for the big block builders, not the lowly small block crews.
