Hi there,

can anybody recommend a STREET-USE tire-pressure-value for my M/T Sportman Pro`s I have got on the rear of my `68 Roadrunner, please?

Tires measure 31x16.5-15TL. Already crawled the net + M/T-homepage, but didn`t found anything for street-use.

A tire-presssure for the M/T-front runners in 26x8.5-15TL would be great, too. (cast-iron Hemi-engine hanging between the struts).

Thanks a lot!

Tobias,I ran 15 to 18 psi in my 16.5x31 mt sportsman and sportsman pro.I could not wear out the sportsmans and the sportsman pro's would not stick for me.For future reference,if you study the sidewall of a tire,it will inform you of max operating psi:tongue8:

Thanks, HEMI-ITIS, for your answer. 15-18psi will lead me my way.

BTW: your car looks really performing and I know your rims from somewhere...should take a look at my ride ;-)

I looked at my front Sportsman skinnies. They stat a max psi of 65. I am running the 26x7.5x15 on a 15x4.5 rim. I think I have them set at 45psi.
Hope this helps

I used ran around 34 psi in my Sportsman skinnies (28x8.5x15) and they seemed to wear fine. I'm now running MT Sportsman S/T Radials 225/70-15 on the front with the same pressures but don't have enough miles on them to see if they are wearing ok. My dilema right now is finding out what pressure to run in the back (for street use). My rear tires are MT ET Street Radials 325/50-15 and I currently have around 20 psi in them. It'll be hard to determine best tire pressure on these things since there's not much tread to monitor.
