Made it down to Muncie again.

Got the cars down to the final Test N Tune night of the year at Muncie Dragway yesterday with the cousins. Not sure if any of you guys were down there, older Mopars seem to be fairly thin.
The wore-out 318 ran really well in the cool air and I was really surprised at how much time I picked up. My previous best was 16.487 at 81mph. Last night I ran a 15.502 at 87mph! :hello2: All I had changed was a little fatter meats on the rear tires and I moved the shift point up to 5,200 rpm.
Next on the list is to get the 360 back from the machine shop and get the rest of the drivetrain ready for a transplant. Hopefully the next time I run I will be deep in the 14's and possibly into the 13's!

Usually not a lot of Mopars at Muncie's TnT, there are a few on their regular Saturday bracket race.

Thanks, My cousin's Challenger, Belvedere, and my Roadrunner made up the bulk of the Mopars there! I did see a Studebaker Avanti that was being run for a while, that was really cool. Wish I had gotten a picture of it.

Northern Runner was being nice. His 15.502 spanked my 360 powered challenger by a whopping .076 and he did it with less cubes and more weight!
