with all this RR clonin' goin on, the Sattys gotta be gettin harder to find

I would love to have one of the wagons to cruise the whole family in. A true MOPAR person or even true car person would not do that to a 4 door.

I like the RR wagon clones/tributes, they are cool, but the 4 door sedans are not good for a RR &/or GTX, tribute, clone, replica, copy, or "fake"... What's wrong with leaving it badged as a Satellite ??... Why ??, Nothing wrong with leaving it a Satellite... I guess I just don't get it & I'm really not a big 4 dr fan period, never have been, unless it's a wagon or truck & I'm all for someone doing "what ever the hell that they want to, with their own cars, Usually", but trying to make a 4 dr Belvedere or Satellite sedan look like a RR is just wrong... my $0.02 cents

Has anyone ever done a Superbird or Daytona tribute with a sedan or wagon? I'd atleast like to see a pic of a wing on a long roof.

I like em. But this guy should have shaved the rear door handles too

I really like the looks of the wagons! I don't know about the 4-door on Ebay, i think it would have been a little better if he at least filled in the door seams and as you said shave the handles :)

That is a nice old, solid looking straight looking, 69 Belv. Wagon 383 2bbl/727tf A/C etc. B7 blue 71k miles, $7600 IIRC... new member only 1 post so far

Funny the car finally made it to E-Bay. It's been listed off and on here in Houston on Craigslist for months--it was one of the first satellites I saw when I got serious about looking for a satty for myself.

The darn thing is just weird enough the wife and I considered driving over and looking at it for giggles...then thought better of it.

And you're right--with the RR cloning, it's almost impossible to find a satellite. Fact is, I ended up buying a RR clone myself, but if I'd had my 'druthers, it would have been a legit satty. That said, in looking into undoing the modifications, I can tell you that it's much easier to do a RR clone than restore a satty, at least for a '72 model.

But then again, nobody tried to hide an extra set of doors on my car :)
