Old Mallory dual point for the 383 and 400 part #YC-346-HP.This is the type with the 2 peice cap,comes with a extra cap top and rotor along with whats pictured.$100.00 plus the ride.May trade for a similar unit for a 440

How hard are the replacement points to find, or are they expensive? Hard to tell from the pics, does it have a vacuum advance? and that piece sticking out of the housing, is that for a mechanical tach or something?

Its actually pretty clean under the cap and the points look usable.If you look close the piece coming out the side goes up and has a little ball spring loaded and is for oiling the shaft.For the asking price i will ship for free in the lower 48

Points wear out, I was wondering how hard they are to find if you know. does it have a vacuum advance? I am very interested and can pay paypal if this is what I'm looking for.

No idea on the availability of the points.No vacuum advance and no on the paypal.I do take postal money orders or cash.
