Ok i blew a manifold gasket while in Carlisle last weekend, bought new gasket there, I have got manifold off (loose) from engine, two of the bolts with the sleeves on them got chewed up I have to replace them, Tried to ask auto store up here, but kid on phone was born in 1989, had no idea what I was talking about, is there a special name for these bolts to order them, and is it a good idea to put new bolts in the rest of holes as well. Now while in Carlisle a mechanic told me the bolts with the sleeves where at each end, when I pulled them they came out of positions 2 and three from fire wall, can I find on line the proper setup for these bolts incase the last person put them in wrong or is this possible?

Lets see now. They are called manifold sleeve nuts. There are either 2 short and one long bolt, or 2 long and one short. On the drivers side it is the hole closest to the firewall I think that hoe takes a long bolt. And on the passenger side there is one at the second hole and the third hole from the firewall. You can search for these bolts as they do reproduce them. Should come in a set of three. I hope this helps you some.

Thanks I am doing passenger side, your description describes the way they came out, but they did not make the the removal trip well, will have to replace both

Update .got manifold back in, could not use the studs I was sold, had to reuse the 4 bolts did replace sleeves and studs they worked ok, except we had to put a screw in sleeve to get stud in far enough, then took sleeve off removed screw and put sleeve back on stud worked ok , no leaks air or antifreeze, so far. Thanks for the help boys.
