Manifold to Carb choke rod

I have just replaced the after market carb that was on the car when I purchased it and replaced it with the orginial carb that I found in a box of stuff that came with the car. It is a Stromburg 2 bbl. Got it rebuilt and put it on and realized that I don't have a choke rod for the carb to the heat riser in the manifold. I don't even know what it is suppose to look like. We made one but it doesn't work right. Anybody have a 318 with a Stromburg carb? I could use a picture. What I could really use is the choke rod itself. Any help?

the rod should come with a new choke.
