Car was originally an auto.

Somebody installed 3/4 speed manual pedals.

I would like to switch back to auto/large brake pedal.

Is the clutch pedal/ bracket an add on piece, and all of the brake pedal brackets are the same, just with a different size foot pad?

Thanks. Eric

I think that the "cage" it all hangs from is universal and the pedals are the only difference.

I converted an early A body "Cage" from auto to manual just by swapping pedals. Maybe the B body stuff is similar in design?

Thank you sir. We were looking at it and it kinda appeared that way.

That way we can remove the current pedals, purchase an automatic brake pedal, and store the factory 4 speed pedals. As not to destroy any original parts. Sweet!

Thanks again. Eric

Put a want ad for automatic brake pedal assembly. Don't know for sure if PB and manual brake pedals are different. Many guys go the other way.

These are easy to come by here or at swap meets for a good price. Kern is right the housings are interchangeable. The pedal PB or non power are the same. The difference is the pushrod length and PB requires that other piece the pushrod attached to....I cant think of the name of it at the moment...The linkage piece..

I just did a manual swap and have an automatic brake assembly I will sell. 75 plus the ride.

Thank you for the offer. But I’m going to see what I can find locally first.

I know of a couple parts cars squirreled away locally.

Thanks again. Eric

Got an original auto brake pedal from my 67 Belvedere ( changed it it manual ) that I no longer need if you're interested.

Thank you. Yes sir I am interested. How much would you like for it? And if I may ask, When you switch to manual did you keep your original bracket and just add the clutch pedal bracket to it? Or did you buy an entire set up from a manual transmission car?

Because as people have stated the clutch assembly looks like an add-on that can just be unbolted and then you have a regular automatic transmission bracket. Thank you again. Eric

Hwy Eric,

The clutch pedal is an add on - look at page 31 in my build to see what I got and added to my existing pedal assembly.

Might have the correct bolt too, as the clutch pedal needs a longer bolt - you can remove those parts - but you'll need the shorter bolt to make it work.

What is the pedal worth to you, make me an offer . . . Love to see these parts go to needing members . . .

Talk to you soon,
Larry
