This site should offer free marriage counseling for all Mopar project car owners. HAHA Happy New Year

Been married and divorced 3 times, so I might be one of the most qualified on what not to do. haha

My first wife didn't like cars...what da hell was I thinking when I married her!! Not only that, she didn't like most of my friends or most of what I did. I like to know what da hell she was thinking when she married me!? And like Al said, if I ever end up single again, I'll stay that way.

My wife encourages me to go out to the shop and work on my project. She says, hurry up and get the dang thing done, so you can get started on the home projects!!! Ouch.

MY Wife Encourages me to do the home projects first!!! not going to happen...

My wife will ask me when I'm going out to the shop so she can clean house and run the vac. The vac drives me nuts. Man, the thing sounds like jets flying over for an hour+. Plus she likes to bang things around and make plenty of noise. The place sounds like a steel mill when she's in high gear! :D

Married more than once is like pissing in the wind.First time you piss in the wind, it was just a mistake.Second time you usually do it to see if you can, male nature. Most men with common sense learn by now.Third time you are just asking for it.Fourth never even thaught about a fourth.I guess you should fill out the forms at the local social service office for your mental disability!:violent-smiley-100:

The woman I'm married to now, I knew before I ever met my second wife. We met in 70 and dated for nearly a year until I got my draft notice. I got sent overseas right after basic and tech school and well, she was ready to leave home but I wasn't ready to get married. Long story short, she married some guy that had been trying to get her to go out with him for nearly the whole time we dated and ran to him once I was gone and they ended up married for 15 years. About the same time I was getting divorced after 5 years of marriage to my first, she was getting a divorce too and we 'ran' into each other and got married. We've been married going on 26 years and between my X and her X and her kid and my kid and our kid....it hasn't been easy to say the least. You got to really like kids and being married and have a good relationship to make it work well and even though we've had good times, there's been plenty of bad ones too. Much easier staying single!! I had a good thing going until I was 28 then had to go and ruin it...

I guess I'm the lucky bastard "in some ways at least", I have raised a few women's kids for them though, before breaking up... I've been really close, with in a couple of weeks to being married a couple of times, but I never pulled the trigger "YET", I always found out some type of bad stuff, just before the wedding, like, a drunk, drug abuse, cheating or just flat out liars, like 1 lady said she had never been married before & was married 4 times before...LOL... My family has many multiple marriages on all sides & I have seen what $hit happens from divorces, to one of my 2 brothers 4 of 5 of my sisters, my mother once & my Pops 3 times divorced & a common law wife all took him to the cleaners... No wonder why I'm so cautious...LOL... I've been lucky to not get stuck with a big mistake "Yet", I don't really think at 52, I will ever find a good women that doesn't have a ton of baggage now, but I'm still looking for a good women, that's not a drunk, druggy, liar or multiple divorced, unfortunately there's not too many good women, here in the sticks....

Ive been very fortunate and blessed to have a wife that supports my car projects, sometimes she got involved with some of them over the years, Nice to have your best friend and wife in the same package for close to 40 years, I cant say shes a "car gal" but she lets me to myself until the money starts getting out of hand.... She keeps me in budget, she isint shy..

Wow had been married for 10 and divorced for......um how many years is it since 1994? 17 years? I would never pretend to tell anyone what the right answer is. I admire anyone who can compromise enough to live with a female. I somehow haven't been able to do it,... and the longer i'm alive, the harder it gets.
For those who have found a certain "peace" I am somewhat jealous.
For those who think it is a blast being single?? There are ups and downs.

The grass is ALWAYS GREENER.
