Marv Hubbard old Oakland Raider Running back from 1969-1975 maybe 76 IIRC
died at age 69, he lived in Castro Valley area Calif., local boy made good,
May 1946 - May 2015
I'm not sure all the details or actual day he passed...

RIP Marv, I loved watching you run,
my 1st football jersey # was 44, chosen after your Raiders persona

I actually met him in my fathers Shoe Stable, shoe store in Lafayette Ca.,
along with many other Raiders, getting White Puma Cleats or
other special order shoes of some kind, from my dads store
IIRC when I was about 10 y/o, 1969-1970ish
He was very nice man, very kind to a young Raiders fan, he didn't just ignore me,
like some would have & I'd like to give my deepest & heartfelt condolences,
goes out to his family, friends & fellow Raiders Teammates too...

you will be missed

Go Raiders, Just win baby...LOL

Even this Chief's fan appreciated some of the Raider's teams from the 70's.
Sorry to hear of his passing.

Really enjoyed watching the Raider games back in those days because of players like Hubbard. RIP.
