No on disk brakes. Not needed on most drum wheel cylinders, but will not hurt.

Won't hurt to run a 2lb valve
w/disc brakes. I run one in
both the front and rear
circuits on a 4 disc system.
It takes 5 lbs or more of
constant pressure to boil
the brake fluid with discs.
