So...I looked at a car this weekend. The car is 100% to have numbers matching engine. It was a Charger 68 RT. Local car forever. Never been out of town. All the history known. May 68 car. Block cast in October 67. Front stamp pad painted so did not see the rest of the data up there.
Order number on rad bracket matches order number on Fender tag.
Here is what the VIN comapred to what was on the engine looked like...
VIN....XS29L8B267512
Stamp on upper rear engine above bell housing was exactly "200" off. "8B267312"
What gives here?
