On a 1963 Max Wedge engine pad next to the distributor, what is the difference in meaning between the stamp 4267M-R and 4267M-P? Thanks

My '63 MW block was stamped 426 TMP not 7MP.

Here are 1963 Stage 1 style MW engine stampings. The stage 2 426 wasn't released until sometime in June '63 and were stamped with a 2, to signify the difference. The 413 MW was not a stage engine.

The first pic is a low compression Stage 1 11.1 426 TMP block
The Second is a high compression Stage 1 13.5 426 TMP HC block
The third is a low compression Stage 3 11.1 426 VMP block
The fourth is a low compression 413 HP 11.1 block
