max wedge port specs

Does anyone have the sizes of the intake ports on a stock 426 max wedge head? I can only find the volume of them, I need to know how tall and wide the openings are.

Hmmmm, maybe get an intake manifold gasket for a max wedge if you are trying to open a set of standard port heads up.

The Max Wedge head ports are roughly 1/4 taller that the standard head. Width is the same.

Thanks Theman, I wasnt quite sure of the width, I might get my heads ported to max wedge size, I wanted to check if my M1 intake has enough meat on it to port match

can't help you on the size as mine are enlarged from standard, but it looks like you got the answer...looks like we got all the max wedge heads over this way, lol

I did the math and it will be close, it'll have about an 8th inch left over, I dont know if thats enough left to have a good seal and/or not affect it's integrity
