This has likely been asked before, but I could not find it. so if it has I apologize.
I own a 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite, I would like to put on 15" wheels replacing the 17" that are on there now. I would also like to have the rear tires as wide as possible without modifying the car.
any suggestions? what size are you running? any rubbing? thoughts or regrets?
thanks in advance for your input.

275/60/15 on 8" wheels are a popular size for the rear on a 68 Plymouth. They fill up the wheel well and won't rub anywhere. 295/50's on a 10" wheel look cool, but will be VERY tight if they even fit. Dodges have more room than Plymouths, but still can be a challenge.

max size for a 68 is 20 x 12" rim, 315 wide tyre is definetly max with a spring relocation, 305 is max that I would run but will scrape on turns on body roll, 295 will give approx. 1" both sides and will not rub
