Guys,
I'm working on building a model car.... of the "Color Me Gone" 64 Dodge 330.. I'm NOT wanting to make it a race car (even tho, they were GREAT race cars for their day) I want to make mine a normal "street" car.....

Now, with that said, this 1964, 330, and the 1964 Dodge 440, and even the 1964 Dodge Dart all the same year, what was the main differences in the 3 cars? As far as I can tell, there wasn't much in different between them, altho, I could be wrong, but I'm kind of stuck on how I want to paint the model....

Granted why all this work for a model? I'm building a few models with taking t easy due to my health issues of recent times, AND wanting to make them for up coming contests, and I want them to be as accurate as I can possibly get them, but not be "race cars" with names on the bodies of the car.....I'm also trying to keep them as close to what they would have been painted factory back in 64 as "Chrysler" colors as well! This is going to help me with the chrome on the car.....

Side trim and interior trim level. The H/T's were Polara 440,500 only. The sedan could be a 330 (no body side molding) or a 440. I believe all 500 were bucket seat , floor shift, console.

what dvw said plus; the dart had a different body style. If you google them, you'll see the differences.

Thanks guys, I have the 64 Dodge 330, known as the "Color Me Gone" race car........... It looks to me only trim is the difference from the 330 to the 440........ but maybe I'm crossing the Dart with another car name? Polara maybe?

Is most of the diff on the 330 and the 440 on the exterior, or the interior? OR Trim package?
