Taken in Tampa Florida circa 1986. My dad loved that car. I would love to know what happened to it, if it got crushed, restored etc?

Yeah its from 1986 dude. Not going to happen via vin check

In n.c. a vin check will go all tha way back till it was new...might be worth a try.cool pic btw.

you would be surprised at what some of them can do at the bmv if they want,I was able to run one that was not reg. in a long time ,anything is worth a try :thinker:

DMV title search, it's like $10 {was anyway} best bet if you still have any of the needed info, like VIN#'s &/or licence plate #'s, owners name etc....

Yeah, how many vehicles are plated in the United States? Doubtful they go back 20+ years. My dad wouldn't have the info regarding it.

As long as you have the VIN, you should be able to get the history.

Called the BMV, and the lady said negative. They only hold on to a vehicles info for so long of it has not been registered in awhile. Too many cars on the road that get sold and bought for the BMV to keep track of.
