Meats for 15 x 7 Rim

I have a set of 15 x 7 steel rims. What’s a good size tire to but on these……for my 68 Super Bee, also added new leaf spring with a 1 inch lift. Thoughts??

245-60 would be ideal. Just a tad small from the back end view

255-60 is tops IMO

A 15x8 with 275-60 would be perfect , IMO

255/60R15 for the rear.
Fronts, depends on what look you are going for.
225/70r15
235/70r15
235/60r15
245/60r15

P255-60R15 would work great all around. I had a set of 15x7 cop rims with those on a 79 Volare wagon and I had no issues at all. You can fit a 275-60R15 on the 7 inch rim but they are better suited for an 8 inch rim. If you want the same size front and rear, go with the 255, you won't regret it.

Not your body style but, here is 255 60 15x8 in back, 215 70 15x7 front. Less than 1/4" height difference. Stock front end, factory 440/ hemi leafs

My personal love since back in the day until now has been Goodyear RWL polyglass L60’s in the Rear and F60’s in the front.

Pricey but killer on the looks front and totally period. Yeah they’re polyglas but can’t have everything… If it’s a cruiser so what… There’s a place in Ohio I used to buy them from online. Universal Tire or something like that. They specialize in vintage tires.,
