FYI, mechanical linkage doesn't work well without the proper end carbs. They need accelerator pumps.

Didn't the mechanical linkage go with the MP upgraded 6 pack set up that used Ford carbs?

the factory never offered a mechanical linkage for the vacuum carbs. the mech "over the counter" carbs were specific to the mopar 6pak. they had the same venturii and throttle bore sizes as the vacuum carbs, but used jet blocks, side pivot bowls and linkage for these carbs needed to be fabricated.

My first six pak setup had mechanical linkage & a modified 500 2 bbl center carb. My guess why he sold it was it didn't work well. I drilled a port & connected the end carbs stock. Then worked with the secondary springs & the end carb jet plates. Got the setup to run quite well at the track.
