hello all
I would like to install a gen 2 hemi with Schumacher conversion mounts to a big block b body k frame. Motor has an external Milodon external oiling system with feed out from pump towards the motor mount. I was warned there will be problems getting hose and nipples to clear the motor mount. I don't want to go to a front motor plate. ( Street car) Any help would be appreciated thanks

I have a modified drivers side mount...but it's for a hemi K frame

This one worked, repro k member and stock style mounts though. All you can do is try it. I wish I'd taken a better photo of it when I built it.

I have an Indy aluminum unit for my 65 Coronet. It too is using the Schumacher conversion mounts along with a Milodon external line road race oil pan. I did do some trimming on the mount welded to the K but it was minimal. I have some shots of mine but they're not the best. In them I'm using my extra K for mockup as the primary one was being finished up prior to powder coating. The line and fittings were already mounted by Indy. All I did was loosen the fittings to move the line for better K clearance. That along with the trimming of the K worked well. You sort of see the areas I trimmed between the grubby unit and the blasted for welding/fitting/fabbing/coating one. In the first pic, the area just below the gold mount bolt was trimmed back for line clearance. The fitting off of the pan is a 120* one. Off of the pump is a 90.
