Megaparts

I have to say, I am getting very frustrated with Megaparts right now. Bought some new window sweeps from them and they are not like the originals that I removed from my Charger. I'm having a heck of a time trying to return these and get my money back. These guys at Megaparts definitely don't like to have you return parts. Everytime I email them they try to talk me out of returning them and try to convince me that they are the factory correct parts (the factory correct window seals have a chrome bead at the top and these do not). I guess this is one good reason to stick with a larger company like Classic Industries or YearOne.....at least you can return parts to them. I'll keep you in the loop and let you know how it goes here.

I called them and returned some incorrect 1/4 window mouldings I purchased from them with no problem at all. The guy I spoke with was a pleasant as can be.
Packed it up with a copy of the packing slip and they credited my CC.

Could be a difference between what is incorrect for sure - and what mega perceives to be correct. I would keep after them. If the parts are not correct they're not correct.

I have been buying from megaparts for years and always had good luck with them. I have returned a few items and they always helped me right away without any issues.

interesting, megaparts is who I check first for parts ! Havent had one issue with them, always good to deal with.

I've bought piles of stuff from them over the years and consider them one of the best vendors out there. There has even been a couple of times I called them for a part and they weren't selling it because Jamie didn't like the quality. Take some pics and send them to him, or they are at a lot of the bigger car shows. I am sure Jamie will make it right if there is a problem.

Mega is the place I go first. Their website is well organized and easy to find parts. I have bought significant amounts of parts from them for various cars. I have also returned/exchanged many parts without issue.

I ordered center console top plates from them for my Bee. Like many reproductions, they did not fit well. They sent me no less than 3 different sets to try and make it right at no charge.

I have no complaints about Mega, great bunch of guys to work with.

Well it all worked out in the end. They refunded my account so everything is good. Might just be a miss-understanding or difference of opinion about what is correct or not correct.
