I just saw something on the news that a meteorite nearly reaches the ground, in a city near Moscow, burns up & blows up with a very bright light & big bang/explosion, supposedly 1000 people with minor injuries....
 
Yeah saw that, decent footage of it as well... its all over youtube supposedly too
 
they estimated it entered our atmosphere at 33,000 mph,now that is fast!

LOL...yeah, I was kinda' thinking that too, at 1st report of an explosion near Moscow, but they latter said it was from a meteorite & I think they said it was something like a 1000 megaton TNT explosion {like 10 times the force of a original "Little Boy/Fat Man" Bombs of WWII}
 
I'm sorry it happened. I don't wish anyone hurt, but I am glad it didn't happen here.
