headed to Miami for the boat show next week. Also doing a two tank dive around Key Largo.

My lady friend would like to experience bit of the Miami night life.

Any club suggestions....age range of maybe 30-55?

Thanks

Don't know much about Miami, but my parents and sister used to live in Key Largo and I have spent a bunch of time there. On the way down, take the long way to the key by taking Card Sound Rd. Turn left just south of Florida City. Stop at Alabama Jacks on Card Sound Road for lunch and to check out the live entertainment. Back in the 90's a Wesley Snipes film called Jump Zone was partially filmed in Alabama Jacks. Once in Key Largo, check out the Caribbean Club (bay side approximately mm 105) The Humphrey Bogart movie Key Largo was partially filmed there. A very eclectic group could be there...locals, bikers, tourists, etc. I have always had a blast there. Pennycamp Park is a good spot to check out. Hobo's is a good spot to check out for dinner, and the Hideout for breakfast/lunch. If you take US 1 all the way down (or back up), check out Gilbert's on the north side of the Jewfish Creek bridge. I really recommend using Card Sound Road at least one way on your trip to Key Largo. It's a neat drive and it's got Alabama Jacks!

None of these places are "nightlife" but chill, local keys places with good food, music, and waterfront bars.

I don't know where to go in Miami
but a 30-year-old & a 55-year-old
don't "usually" have much at all in common...

even dancing styles or music are differenet

good luck & have fun

FCBO is having a show in Miami? :D

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions for a club.

Thanks for the replies. Yea, the age difference can be challenging at times, but I try to adapt

Stop at the Fish House on MM 22.5 (?) in Key Largo. Right by Pennecamp. Best damn fish I have ever had!!

Be very careful in Miami.... A no go zone for most Floridians.
Alot of places have signs saying " NO englees spoken here"...
ONLY in America

Glad to have left that area back in the drug wars days. If you are staying on beach side, yeah probably south beach would be best. Btw, if you see something like this headed to the show, don’t stop in front of him.

22mm is about 22 miles from the west end of Key West. Key Largo would be around the 100 mm. We haven’t been there in several years, but we really liked the Buzzards Roost up near where the Card Sound road intersects. We told friends about it recently and they said it was very good. Last time we were down that way, we ate at Pilot house across from Key Largo fisheries. I’ve heard that the fisheries opened their own small restaurant there.

Ah. Thank you for the clarification. It might be 122.5 then. For some reason 22.5 is sticking in my head. Either way, I know it was the Fish House and I know it was goooooooood. lol

My better half just delivered a 33 cobalt to be on display at that show. You better have deep pockets to go to the Miami boat show.
Have fun but honestly I would ask some of the locals where to go. When we were there we jumped in a water taxi and told him to surprise us and had a great time.

MarPar, I’m thinking it’s at the 102.5. Roger63, if your better half has inside info or comes across a 225 Yami or Suzuki (non fly by wire) (25” shaft) I’m in need of one. Thanks.

I have a friend that's well connected in the boat market I will check.
