Thanks for the ugly reminder. Subaru "responsible green" owners commercials can make you puke too. Then there are the 'inattentive owner adds from Mitsubishi (?) It stops on its own when the driver is distracted. The age group of those writers are obvious.

I spent a lot of time working in a grocery store where they played the radio station featuring Bolton and similar music. Most of it went through me, but when Bolton came on it was like kryptonite. Few singers have that effect on me and Bolton is one of them. Brett Dennen is another.

I hate to say it, but Bolton actually was less harmful on the ears than that other horrid "singer".

My sister-in-law loved Bolton, and she asked me why I didn't and I told her because he doesn't sing! His voice doesn't change note at all, and he just essentially screams louder or softer to change tone. He may be able to write music but he has absolutely no singing talent. About a week later she said "you're right. He does just get louder and softer."
