Car is a 65 Bvdr II and tires will be going on a 15x7 steelie with 4" back space. Was trying to get Coker Pro Trac's but they are out for a couple months. These Mickey's are L60-15 and the specs are below. With the 12.2 section width do you think there will be any side wall rub in turns or anything? We know the BFG's fit but the Mickey has an inch on them. BFG price is great but a different look.

I was looking at those too. Summit said they recommend tubes, do you run them? Got any picks of 'em from the side and back? Their tech said those gave better traction but gave up some wear mileage to the Sportsman 1, so it's a give and take. How are yours holding up?

yes i run tubes, and use screws in the bead.... dont worry to much about wear b/c they are not for the street !! they are track only( E/T DRAG ) .... for the street i use a generic, 275/60-15 ... plenty of clearance

Got ya. Thought you were talking Sportsman Pro. I gotta get out of the driveway first, LOL.

oh ! nah, i believe in tearing up "cheap" tires instead of the pricey ones !! ....****, my tires dont even have a name on the sidewall, they just have the size !!

Today I put 28x10.5(ET Drag) on my 65 Coronet but I am using 4.5 back spacing. No clearance issues but I also have the springs in board. I know you are talking about a different tire but thought you could use this info as a fitment reference.

65-440:
What tires are you using for the street. Where can I get them. Need some cheap tires for the street.

the only thing on the sidewall is " radial g/t ....m+s p275/60r15 " .... and surpisingly enough they actually hold up well. i know iv'e left my share of marks in the road and the tread is still good ! .... i would just call your local tire shop and ask for the cheapest in that size... i searched on google, i think they might be coopers ???
