Last week (somewhere around September 7th), an ad for a car up in AZ. surfaced on the dallas craigslist. It was for a real deal hemi gtx 4 speed, all there, but taken apart. No rust, title, vin, and fender tag in hand. No price was listed, so I figured what the hell, sent the guy an email, and he called me. He said it was a real deal car that he owned for 30 years, and he was dying so he was selling all he had. I was skeptical, but when he said 10,000 for the car, I was pretty suspicious. I asked for pictures and all he sent me was a picture of the hood and part of the passenger compartment. The picture had a corner of a car frame in the background. But that was I. He didn't send me a picture of the vin or fender tag which I requested, so I figured it was a scam and moved on. I kept browsing craigslist and saw an ad for a viper engine, clicked it and it was the same guy, and it was mounted in a frame, same frame that I saw in the one gtx picture. I immediately called the guy back to tell him I wanted to fly out to buy the car, but found out some one had already bought it.
Pretty disappointed that I missed out on this one. Would have been one hell of a car at one hell of a price.

Man those are rough ones its a shame there's all these scams now a days . Ive missed out on a few cars because of "possible scams" but I find usually when you get a number its legitimate scams run threw emails to hard to track if they give a phone number and you turn it in to the police they can track them down fairly easy .
I'm sure the car will pop up agen for a lot more money
